We are proud to present the MetroWest Shared Public Health Services (MWSPHS) Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2025. This report highlights our work across all nine municipalities, showcasing services delivered, milestones achieved, and our collective impact.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health's Office of Local and Regional Health (OLRH) is adapting the national Foundational Public Health Services (FPHS) Framework to create a Massachusetts-specific model that ensures every resident has access to a consistent minimum set of services. The framework includes 8 Foundational Capabilities and 5 Foundational Areas, providing a structure to strengthen accountability, quality improvement, and coordination across municipalities. Guided by the 2019 Blueprint for Public Health Excellence and aligned with national accreditation standards, FPHS helps modernize and unify the state's public health system while promoting collaboration, efficiency, and equity statewide.
